Thomson’s gazelles are 51 to 67 cm (20 to 26 in) tall and weigh 13–24 kg (29-40 lb) (females), 17-29 kg (males). They have light brown coats with white underparts and a distinctive black stripe. Their horns are long and pointed with slight curvature. The white patch on their rump extends to underneath the tail but no further. A Thomson’s gazelle maximum running speeds is up to 65 km/h (40 mph).
Imagine what it's like for a tiny insect to jump and fly as quickly as they do. They might cover 40 body lengths in a second. To a six-foot person that's 164 mph. This site tries to understand how it feels to move like a fly, a squirrel, a cat, a rhinocerous, or a falcon.
